The Gems of Rome. Sightseeing Tour.
Small group tour
Why to go: See the landmarks of Rome and the hidden gems.
The Eternal City in full view: You will walk down the Spanish Steps and will peep into the windows where John Keats and Mary Shelley used to live, you will see the Roman headquarter of Valentino and discover unknown facts about the brand, you will have a close look at the baroque ringlets in St. Ignatius Church and will see how the ceiling frescoes create a 3D effect and then compare it to the Pantheon dome — the world’s largest unreinforced dome erected almost two thousand years ago during the reign of the Emperor Adrian and which is still a real marvel of complex engineering.
You will take vibrant pictures for Instagram in the cozy street of via Margutta and in the picturesque private yard of the Sciarra Gallery, admire Caravaggio’s paintings and discover their story in the San Luigi dei Francesi Church, enjoy the fountains at the most beautiful Roman square — Piazza Navona. You will imagine how it was filled with fountain water in the XVII century at the order of Pope Innocent X to provide some relief from August heat to the Romans and, of course, you will throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain to come back to the Eternal City.
Bonus: Hints on cool restaurants, most beautiful viewpoints and other sights.

Duration: 3 hours.

This tour was excellent. Managed to see so much in 3 hours, yet there was no rush and our guide, Maria Laura was so knowledgeable and friendly, and so enthusiastic. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on!
